We had a couple of pints at "The Dog" few days a go and we absolutely loved it. Itwas very very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was friendly and cosy.

The service is always excellent and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed, no loud music and a lovely hubbub of background chat, everyone seems happy to say hello even if you're not a local. The food is tasty, good size servings and good value with plenty of choice. Being coeliac I need gluten free food and there are plenty of options for me, I find the staff are particularly helpful in this respect and never seem to mind answering endless questions!

My local and absolutely love it. Great atmosphere and great food. Emma, Andy, Di and team have truly turned this place around and we are very grateful to have such a brilliant pub so nearby.

My friend had read reviews and thought we would give it a try as we were riding past. The Landlady was very friendly and welcoming, the food was hot, tasty and plenty of it. The creamy leaks were lush. I would definitely go back again 💯

Stopped in here on a Saturday winter afternoon. The place is filled with locals, and the staff was very attentive and nice. This has a great local old English pub feel, and dogs are "Welcome!" I dropped in for a pint, and will definitely be back with my pup, Poppy.

Brilliantly managed by Emma and her family to create the perfect village pub. Lovely welcoming atmosphere, the right balance of liveliness and decent grub at a fair price. Lucky to have had the right people restart the pub again - village is lucky to have them!
